"I experienced what the so-called 'yoga healing' truly means firsthand...
When I was 18, doctors forbade me from running, jumping, dancing, and practically everything that healthy people do... Of course, it felt like the end of the world... Soon, I met someone who recommended trying acupuncture and yoga. After a course of acupuncture, I started to feel better and somewhat neglected yoga. I endured a 'slight' constant discomfort until I finally tried yoga classes. To be honest, I didn't expect much from it, but since it was always difficult for me to wake up in the mornings and short yoga practices gently and pleasantly brought me into a resourceful state, I started doing them.
And what did I discover?
Firstly, since I began practicing, my body has hardly undergone age-related changes. My figure only improved, my waist became slimmer, and my physical condition became so good that I could engage in any sport.
Secondly, my emotional and mental state became harmonious. I started to feel a deep sense of peace and happiness, regardless of what was happening around me, and people around me noticed this. Plus, it helped me quickly recover from stress and fears.
Thirdly, my attention and concentration reached an entirely new level. Previously, I couldn't finish anything, my efforts took a lot of time and energy, and 'jumping' thoughts affected my speech and how others perceived me. Now, my to-do list gets completed fairly quickly, I have clarity, and moreover, I gained the ability to meditate. My mind is now my ally.
No, everything didn’t change overnight, but a single habit implemented into daily life made all the difference—practicing yoga, even just for 5 minutes, consistently.
This lesson is the quintessence of what I have learned and discovered over 10 years of practice and continuous education, from books written thousands of years ago and in modern times, from blogs of practitioners and teachings of recognized masters, and from one of the best international teacher training programs in the world.
Now, all of this is in your hands. Use it wisely."
