I’m Julia Chukh,
creator of the Somatic Reset Method™ and a somatic practice educator. I teach yoga through my own methodology, working with the nervous system, attention, and the way we process emotions.
My journey didn’t start from teaching, but from a personal search. I wanted to understand why, even with so many tools available, it was still so hard to feel calm, grounded, and stable from within. Over the years, I explored both ancient practices and modern research on the nervous system and mind–body connection.
What I discovered changed everything: it’s not about doing more practices — it’s about having a clear way to work with your state, including how you move through stress and emotional activation. That realization became the foundation of my work.
Today, I help people regulate their nervous system, restore focus, and process emotions in a way that creates real, lasting stability — not just a temporary state, but something they can rely on in everyday life, and a sense of inner peace that doesn’t depend on external conditions.

Before we begin, I want to share an observation — or rather, a fact — that you’ll likely agree with as you move deeper into practice.
Most people today live with a “low battery” — not just physically, but emotionally and energetically. Fatigue, tension, pain, anxiety, apathy — they’re not random. They have roots.
For thousands of years, Chinese and Indian medicine have spoken about the body’s energy channels — like invisible highways running through us. When these channels are blocked, the flow of energy is disrupted — and that’s when imbalance shows up, whether as stress, pain, or emotional heaviness.
Yoga isn’t just movement — it’s a way of unblocking these pathways. Each posture (even the weird-looking ones!) has a purpose. And when sequenced wisely, they work together to reset the system, restoring balance and flow.
This is one of the reasons my method works so powerfully — and why I return to it every day myself.
